Dear classic car enthusiast!

Every year, more than fifty special, beautiful vintage cars and motorcycles from all over Europe come to participate in the Balatonfüred Concours d’Elegance. The finest cars from the surrounding countries and from Hungary gather on the shores of Lake Balaton in May to compete for the Best of Show title, the highest accolade in the world of vintage cars, as well as category and special prizes.

The event, sponsored by FIVA (International Federation of Historic Vehicles) and MAVAMSZ, is already backed by two of the leading representatives of the Hungarian motoring press, Veteran Car and Motor and AutoMagazine.

H. Star cars (cars that actually feature in films or are perfect replicas of famous movie cars)

We expect entries for cars and motorcycles that have not yet been entered in the Balatonfüred Concours d’Elegance. A maximum of eight cars in each category will be judged by the jury and will be entered in the beauty contest on the Tagore Promenade in Balatonfüred. There will be no categories for motorcycles.

To register, please submit at least five high-quality photos of each vehicle (photo size: a minimum of 2500 pixels on the longer side,) and a detailed description. Entries will become final on receipt of the full entry fee. In case of cancellation by 15 April, 50 percent of the entry fee will be refunded. Cancellations after 16 April will not be refunded, but may be used for the following year. If the event is cancelled as the fault of the organisers, the full amount will be refunded. OT or FIVA qualification is not required to enter. A catalogue of the selected vehicles will be produced and will appear in the May 2025 issue of Veteran magazine.

Planned programme:
Friday 23 May

II. Ötvös Csöpi all-day car-motorbike memorial tour in the Balaton highlands, late afternoon the placement of the participating cars and trailers. In the evening, welcome reception on the pier of Balatonfüred.

Saturday 24 May
In the morning from 08.00 a.m. vehicles will be positioned on the Tagore promenade. During the day there will be prresentations, activities and a VIP Lounge. At 6.00 p.m., check-in at the garage, followed by a gala dinner.

Sunday 25 May
From 08.00 a.m., vehicles will be positioned on the Tagore Promenade. During the day, prresentations and children’s activities. In the afternoon, announcement of results, followed by a parade in Balatonfüred.
